My goal is to have you come in as few times as possible to relieve pain, minimize discomfort and help restore function. Of course, if you want to continue regular visits for overall maintenance, I will be glad to help with that, too.
I have been the client and know how frustrating it is to seek the help of doctors, surgeons, chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists, etc. with minimal relief of pain and no lasting results.
I've been on muscle relaxers, pain medications, anti-inflammatory drugs, prednisone and received trigger point injections. I know what it is like to continue to deteriorate, while on this roller coaster ride of medications and therapies.
I will listen to you and help discover the real problem. Often, the worst pain is not at the site of the dysfunction. We will work together to locate and address the cause of the pain and help get you better, as soon as possible. During any session, I want you to get the most benefit your body can. If your body has been protecting itself for a long time, it might not allow work in the area that needs it the most. We will work together to find a technique that will get us past that barrier and make progress. After each session, you should feel better and after a few days there should be even more improvement. If you don't notice improvement, the therapy is not working and a new therapy or technique is needed.
The main techniques that are used during the sessions are from a variety of therapies, including: Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Massage Cupping Therapy, Active Isolated Stretching, PNF Stretching, Myoskeletal Alignment, Swedish/American Massage, Acupressure and Trigger Point Therapy.
If it is something that I can't help, I will tell you and refer you to someone that can help you get the answers you need.
